Birthday Blossom

Hello crafty friends!

I am still working on my blog and will be adding more "how to" tutorials for you to follow along for those who are visual. It has been a setback and now back to sharing with my followers. I cannot promise you that it will be daily but at least weekly for now.

With working full-time, raising a family, and the longer commutes to home, my creativity time is limited to weekends, and most I know are in the same vote.

Creating has been fulfilling but needed more. I love connecting with my followers, so today's card share is using this Birthday Blooms stamp set (p. 70) with you. This can be used for birthdays, thank yous, thinking of you or just because. Just change the sentiment.

The versatility of the Birthday Blooms stamp set is soooo elegant, and there is so much potential to the set because of the large open space for in-depth coloring.

The color inspiration came from from the Cake Soiree DP and I love the small amount of silver throughout the DP.

To keep the continuity of the embedded silver on the DP and the silver foil to my focal point. The image is stamped with versamark ink and silver embossing powder. Then heat set it until the powder is melted.

The coloring medium is using our Stampin' Blends (Old Olive, Pool Party and Daffodil Delight). You will need to protect your surface as the alcohol saturates through the cardstock.

To top off with the finishing, add two Basic Rhinestones to your card.
