Why is the month going so fast? Heck what about the year? We are half way before year is over, and no sooner 2020 starts. Welcome, and thanks for taking the time to come to my blog.
This is for all the male in your life. Male cards are the hardest to make, so I went with my instinct to use the May 2019 Paper Pumpkin "Hugs from Shelli". My original card created.
I was thinking about bird watchers. There are many male bird watchers as well as female bird watchers. I am one of those demonstrators who don't follow instructions according to the packaging and I love to play with papers and elements by going outside the box and adding additional details. Here is one for the male. You see, you can take one element and add different tones of colors.
I color the eggs with Night of Navy Stampin' Blends and the leaves with Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends. Used the Rectangle Stitched Framelits, and die cut the centre. Then used the next size up Rectangle Stitched Framelits in Blueberry Bushell cs.
Trim the note card to 2-7/8" x 4-1/4". Then cut (1) 3" x 4-3/8" Blueberry Bushell cs and adhere the focal point to the mat cs. Then with the hexagon die cut element that was provided in the kit, cut the end off and stamp LOVE in Blueberry Bushel ink.
The base card is cut at 7-1/8" x 5", scored at 3-1/2" in crumb cake cs and then adhere the panel with dimensionals. I kept the same size as the other note cards so that I can use the envelopes.
