CCDT Blog Hop - Spring Fling

Hello Crafty Friends!
I can't believe how time flies and the next thing you know the month is over. As we head into March, the birds are chirping, flowers are blooming and everything about nature is growing. I love spring! Everything is bright and cheery!

Welcome to today's CCDT Blog - Spring Fling.

What is CCDT stands for?

CCDT is Creative Circle Design Team. We are a group of demonstrators that love to design using Stampin' Up! products and we hop monthly on the 1st Thursday of the month. Always consistent, and always fun to hop.

New to my blog?

If you are new to my blog, welcome. I am a Canadian Independent Demonstrator and I love designing 3Ds to coordinate with my cards. If you live in Canada, come join the Canadian Papercraft Cards Scrapbook FB group. There will be a couple of questions for you to answer.

Most of the time, my mojos and inspirations are based on Stampin' Up! stamp sets. For instance, Blossoming Basket Bundle. It comes with Blossoming Basket Stamp Set and the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. You can get these from the SAB #2 FREE when you purchase $120 of products and that is how the flower kiosk came about.

I have been wanting to do a flower kiosk for awhile and this was a perfect timing.
When building this I used the Dynamic Basket Weave on both side of the cart, and sponged the edges with Smoky Slate ink. The Blossoming Basket full of flowers are also used in the decorating of the kiosk.
I stamped the Blossoming Basket in Mementum Ink and colored them with my blends. I can tell you that I did not fussy cut all the blooms, but I created an SVG file to cut the outlines and the inset with my electronic cutter. I also have one for the butterfly too. Then the flowers are colored with Stampin' Blends.
I created the wheels and stamped them in Hardwood stamp and Soft Suede Ink. Then sponged in Soft Suede ink to give some dimensions.
The awning pivots so that you can retrieve your cards out of the cart. The cart can hold about 10 cards and envelopes.

Before I do the giveaway, I want to congratulate to the last month's winners who won the Eggstoardinary project.

The numbers were randomly picked by Please PM and I will give the codes for this file.

Winners are:
9. Sherry
12. Cari Jewett
13. LulueA

I have the design part all layed out and still need to do a how to video. All the components work well with Stampin' Up! and I hope to have this available soon.

In the meantime, to celebrate the blog hop, I am giving away the SVG patterns for the Kiosk Flower Cart, Blossoming Basket and Butterfly to THREE lucky winners. Leave a comment on my blog by 11:59 pm PT on April 16 for your chance to win. Winners will be chosen at random and announced on this blog on April 18, 2018. Add a hashtag #LHDContest.

To double your chances of winning, share this on your FB group, Pinterest, and Instagram.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

  5. Liz your ideas are always amazing. This flower kiosk is simply brilliant. Such a nice piece to have on display to welcome in Springtime. The basket weave embossing really makes that cart stand out. Thanks so much for sharing. #LHDContest
