We hop every month and usually occurs on the first Thursday of each month and every 3rd month I provide a pattern and challenge them to create something using my 3D patterns. My patterns are in SVG and Silhouette formats, and if you don't have an electronic cutter, then it is available to you by PDF, and YES they are all made with paper.
This month, is another signature piece of mine (#lizhollowaydesign), and it is a perfect timing to get into the spirit of Christmas. This Church is a slightly difficult due to the intricate pieces and the angle of the steeple but it is worth making.
The Church has an actual working bell that rings.
The steeple is created using copper foil. I also added the copper foil around the spire windows to tie in with the copper-look.
The windows are cut to have the stained glass look, and when you place a tealight, the window lights up in the evening.
The teams' challenge is to create the Church of their choice of pattern and create a holder of their own choice, whether it is for cards, mini album, candies or even a home decor. For me, a keepsake mini album. The mini album is tucked inside the Church and is ready for to add pictures inside.
Before you hop over to the team's blog, I love to hear from you!
