50th Anniversary Invitation Cards

Hi Stamping Friends,

I love what I do ... stamping and creating. Pure joy and honour to be asked to design 50th Anniversary invitation cards.

APPROVED by the client. Here is what I came up with.

She had to come up with the wordings for the inside. I also brought in the hearts inside the invitation to bring more colors in.

  1. Cut (1) 4-1/4" x 11" of whisper white thick cardstock and score at 5-1/2".
  2. Cut (1) 3-3/4" x 5" of glimmer gold paper.
  3. Use the Bloomin' Heart and flag from the large number framelits and die cut the framelits in the middle of the glimmer paper to conserve paper. The positive of the Bloomin' Heart Framelits and the Flag become the focal point of the base card.
  4. Cut (1) 3-5/8" x 4-7/8" of whisper white card stock and emboss the panel with Happy Heart Embossing Folder.
  5. Secure the Happy Heart panel to the glimmer gold paper with tear & tape and then secure it onto the base card.
  6. Die cut the numeric number(s) from the large number framelits of gold foil.
  7. Secure the positive Bloomin Heart with multipurpose glue on to the panel and adhere the numbers onto the base card.
  8. Punch out red confetti heart border punch with red foil and secure it with the multipurpose glue.

What was neat was meeting her daughter for the first time, and she too enjoy crafting!

So we were able to create 8 cards today as we are awaiting for products to come in and finish off the remaining on Thursday.

Thanks for stopping by,

  3. Hello Liz,
Nice information about Wedding Card creation. Nowadays we come across many traditional paperback cards. But, in this gen X, we all want to go Eco-friendly and be little kind on nature also, innovative. Lavender Paperie created few Wedding invitations cards, which are upbeat funky and are the total must do for the wedding. These would definitely add spunk to your wedding and also a personal touch to your wedding invitations. Thanks for sharing.

    Regards,
