Hi Stampers,
Here is a video tutorial for you creating this Recessed Cards in a Box. Have fun with piece, and be sure to link it back to my blog.
I would love to see your creation!
How It's Made:
Preparation:
Watch the How It's Made tutorial before proceeding.
- Cut 2 pieces of 5" x 5" thick card stock from the backing of the designer series paper and line the front and back with designer series paper. Notch the right angles and then wrap the ends around the board and burnish the sides.
- Cut 2 pieces of 1-3/4" x 6" thick card stock, score at 1/2" on each side, and add double sided tape on the tabs.
- Cut 2 pieces of 1-3/4" x 5" thick card stock. Attach these pieces to Step 2.
- Cut 4 pieces of 2-1/4" x 6" designer paper and add to the sides. [NB: you can use a long strip of designer paper or card stock if you have it on hand rather than piecing the 4 pieces together].
- Cut 2 pieces of 1" x 10" coordinating cardstock, score at 1/2" on the long end, score at 5" on the short end. Use your envelope punch board to create the tabs. This is your construction piece to hold the box and sides together.
- Decorate.
Love this box ~ I am going to have to give it a try. Thanks for sharing
